Cosmetology Instructor. Cosmetology Instructor needed for CPI’s Post-Secondary Cosmetology Program(s). Schedule: M – TH, 9AM to 3PM. The Cosmetology instructor provides coordination, oversight, leadership and day-to-day supervision and operation of the Cosmetology Programs (Cosmetology, Esthetician and Cosmetology Teachers Program). This individual is also responsible for program curriculum, hybrid and distance education integration, program budgeting, oversight of assistant instructors, oversight of the student salon, observing student work, ordering products for the salon and lab, and involvement in student recruiting activities.

Education and experience requirements

• Must currently hold a PA Cosmetologist and PA Cosmetologist Instructor’s License
• Must have a minimum of 5 years work experience as a cosmetologist
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Understand, demonstrate and articulate a student-centered and student-success learning environment
• Strong computer skills
• Experience with instruction and Milady instructional methodologies experience beneficial
