By her own account, Denae Taylor was a “pretty good student,” a modest statement for someone normally on the High Honor Roll, always excited to learn, who found school to be easy because she was a fast learner. Yet, while attending Bellefonte Area High School Denae was not certain about a future involving post-secondary education, ultimately choosing CPI because she felt it would give her the necessary skills to obtain a job after high school. Randy Haynes


Randy Haynes, a Bald Eagle Area graduate who completed CPI’s Precision Machine Technology program, was an honors student graduating in the top ten percent of his class. While at CPI, he was a member of the National Technical Honor Society and earned awards for CPI’s Outstanding Student of the Year, Outstanding Cooperative Education Student, Cooperative Education “Recognition for Reliability”, and Precision Machining MVP for the class of 2012. Matthew Wolfe


Although he excelled in a traditional classroom setting, when Mathew Wolfe was a teen he became very interested in cars and the hands-on learning that accompanied it. As a Penns Valley student, Wolfe graduated with a 3.7-grade point average and took as many advanced classes as possible. However, as a senior high student he wanted more control of his future courses and decided CPI would be a good fit.
